Marnix Mohrmann
Hi! I'm Marnix Mohrmann, a pianist and engineer.
'Music started a fire in me that never went away'
My personal musical journey is a long and rather wobbly one. In the early 2000’s I started playing the piano and toyed around with Fruity Loops. It was at that moment when music started a fire in me that never went away. Swerving through genres like hiphop, trapstep, house and eventually neoclassical piano, it has introduced me to so many people, cultures and musical styles.
M2.Studios has been built over more than a decade. From just me and my passion to the facilities it offers now. All this time it has mainly served as my personal studio from where I produce, record, mix and master my own projects. But over the course of time I’ve started working for other artists as well. It gives me a profound sense of joy to bring their musical visions alive.
Through my personal projects and collaboration with others, the music that has passed through M2.Studios has reached well over 10 million listeners across the world. The music has been signed to labels like Nettwerk Music, Night-Night Records, AD21Music, Nordic Euphony Records, 2-Dutch and Creationz.
